The Sims... a movie?

Who hasn't had this idea while playing Sim City and/or The Sims: A movie a bit like The Truman Show and The Matrix in which a person or a group of people slowly realize that they are part of a computer game?

If you haven't had this idea, you're probably not very creative (sorry).

Well, it's supposedly scheduled for release in 2009: The Sims.
