Harry Potter 7 - 2 movies
Looks like the current plan for the final Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is to split it up into two movies. They should have done this with The Order of the Phoenix, which was horrible.
Then again, all the Harry Potter movies are far too rushed. They would work much better as a miniseries.
And they were a lot better when John Williams was doing the music!
According to IMDB.com, they're currently scheduled for release 2010 and 2011, the same years as another book-to-movie split-in-two film will be released... The Hobbit. Peter Jackson won't be directing, but Howard Shore better be doing the music. It's all right to mess up the Harry Potter films since they're already messed up, but you gotta keep The Hobbit gold.
